เนื่องจากการตั้งครรภ์ ทำให้ร่างกายของคุณแม่เปลี่ยนไป ทั้งสรีระ ฮอร์โมนโปรเจสเตอโรน อารมต่างๆ ที่มักเกิดขึ้นซึ่งเป็นปกติของการตั้งครรภ์ และเมื่อทารกในครรภ์มีอายุมากขึ้น น้ำหนักตัวทารกในครรภ์ก็มากขึ้นตาม ทำให้คุณแม่ต้องเกิดอาการปวดเมื่อยร่างกาย และกล้ามเนื้อต่างๆ เช่น ปวดหลัง ปวดขา ปวดแขน ปวดสะโพกและบั้นเอว เป็นต้น โดยอาการดังกล่าว คุณแม่ตั้งครรภ์สามารถผ่อนคลายด้วยการนวดได้ โดยมีเงื่อนไขนิดนึง ดังนี้ค่ะ
• การนวดสำหรับคุณแม่ตั้งครรภ์ สามารถนวดได้ตั้งแต่อายุครรภ์ 4 เดือน หรือ 16 สัปดาห์ ถึง 8 เดือน (32 สัปดาห์)
• ท่านวด ให้คุณแม่ตั้งครรภ์นอนตะแคง และควบคุมน้ำหนักในการนวดที่เหมาะสม เพราะอาจกระทบต่อทารกในครรภ์ได้ แต่สามารถนวดเบา แต่ซ้ำไปซ้ำมาหลายๆรอบ จนคุณแม่ตั้งครรภ์รู้สึกสบาย และผ่อนคลายได้
• การนวดจะนวดลงบนกล้ามเนื้อ ไม่สามารถกดกดลงบนเส้น ข้อต่อ หรือกระดูก ได้โดยตรง และต้องงดเว้นการนวดฝ่าเท้า ซึ่งเป็นอันตรายต่อทารกในครรภ์เป็นอย่างยิ่ง
• ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ใช้ ต้องเป็นผลิตภัฑณ์ที่เป็นธรรมชาติ ไม่มีสารที่เป็นอันตรายต่อทารกในครรภ์
• หมอนวด (Therapist) ต้องมีความรู้และความชำนาญในการนวดสำหรับคุณแม่ตั้งครรภ์
• การนวดสำหรับคุณแม่ตั้งครรภ์ เน้นนวดเพื่อความผ่อนคลายเป็นหลัก เช่น การนวดน้ำมัน การนวดยาหม่อง หรือการทรีทเม้นท์เพื่อความงาม อาธิเช่น การขัดผิว การประคบอุ่น เป็นต้น และต้องไม่เน้นนวดลงน้ำหนักมากเกินไป
• หลีกเลี่ยงการให้บริการด้านความร้อนจัดๆ เช่น ซาวน่า หรือแช่อ่างร้อนๆ ซึ่งความร้อนทำให้เกิดภาวะเสี่ยงที่ร่างกายจะเกิดการขาดน้ำ และการขาดเกลือแร่ที่จำเป็น ทำให้เลือดข้นขึ้น ส่งผลต่อการไหลเวียนของเลือดและลูกน้อยในครรภ์
ดังนั้นคุณแม่ที่ตั้งครรภ์ ควรแจ้งให้กับพนักงานต้อนรับทราบตามความเป็นจริงว่า ตนเองตั้งครรภ์ได้กี่สัปดาห์ เพื่อการให้บริการที่ตรงกับความต้องการของคุณแม่ และความปลอดภัยของลูกน้อยในครรภ์ค่ะ ^^

Due to pregnancy makes mother body changes such as figure, Progesterone hormone, moods which may occur when pregnant. When a mother has more gestational age, the estimated fetal weight is more as well, which can cause have pains and aches of a mother such as back pain, leg pain, arm pain, waist and hip pain, etc. These can be relaxed with massages, but there are some conditions:
• Should get a massage after 4 months or 16 weeks pregnancy until 8 months or 32 weeks pregnancy.
• The mother has to lie on one side and control the weight of massages because it may affect to the baby, however mother can do a soft massage but repeated many times until mother feels comfortable and relax.
• Can get a muscle massage, but cannot get a direct massage on a joint or bone and cannot get a foot massage which is imperilled to baby.
• Used products must be a natural product and be harmless for the baby.
• The therapist must be well up in pregnant women massage.
• Massage for pregnant women can only do for a relaxation such as aromatherapy massage, balm massage or other beauty massages for instance scrub and hot ball massage, etc.
• Avoid get an overheating massage such as sauna, soak in hot water. Because heat can risk of hydropenia and lack of minerals which may cause the pyknaemia affect to baby and blood circulation.
Should inform receptionist how many weeks you are pregnant in order to get an appropriate suggestion and be safe for baby.
